I would like to personally reply to the review left for me from ‘Jamie’. I am the groomer she is speaking of on the review. First and foremost, communicating what a client wants for their pups is something I don’t take lightly. I try my best each time to make sure I have the instructions I need for a groom. Second, coming on social media to leave a poor review without stating the truth is in poor taste and defamation of character. As I remember, and I hope ‘Jamie’ does as well, during the drop off process ‘Jamie’ was very rushed because she had received a ride to her appointment from someone else and needed to leave quickly! At no moment did she volunteer any ‘specific’ instructions besides asking to ‘take the dogs back end short’. Which was done. It didn’t get any more specific than that. I myself had to stop HER from rushing and ask her questions as to what she wanted done for the rest of the body. It is not the shop’s or the groomers responsibility to make sure a client comes in with enough time to explain what they want for a pup’s haircut. Clients need to take the time and in that moment with ‘Jamie’ she did not take the time and I got what information I could. A refund will not be issued because the services that were asked for at drop off were completed . A re-groom was offered and the client did not show up. It is not in my nature to do this but I obviously felt a need to come on here and defend myself from this review because this person is not being truthful to what she has stated. A review is supposed to be honest. This review isn’t honest and it is defamation of character.
